摘要: This study investigates the ability of humans to use vestibular system in “path integration” and memorize displacement head. Human subjects were submitted, complete darkness, passive angular whole-body displacements about a vertical axis, inducing stimulation. They presented, before rotation, stationary visual target. During they had fixate target which moved with After memorization delay either less than 20 sec, 1 min, or 5 after end required make an eye saccade toward “memorized” The results show that amplitude detected by can be estimated correctly memorized during min. At however, rotation angles below 25 deg are overestimated.
