摘要: Abstract The survival data on 515 white and 388 black female breast cancer patients seen at the Medical College of Virginia between 1968 1977 were analyzed to study effect age, stage race prognosis. For a subset representing from city Richmond (117 206 black), socio-economic status (SES) information was generated basis six predictors SES and, in addition, role social class studied. Each these factors has significant associatiion with time. In particular, probability surviving given length time after diagnosis is ordered according level statistical test for dose response shows highly directional relationship. Age do not explain difference two races. Race are associated; higher proportion blacks than whites come lower end scale. Moreover, racial becomes insignificant when it adjusted distribution levels. This suggests that observed is, large extent, due races respect status.
