摘要: Two flagellar antigens, intact flagella and monomeric flagellin from Salmonella adelaide were labelled with 125I by the Chloramine-T method. They injected into hind foot-pads of rats, localization in draining lymph nodes was studied scintillation counting autoradiography. Injected rats belonged to one four groups: normal, unimmunized adult (NI); that had been given an unrelated antigen 6 weeks previously (HI); a priming dose same (though unlabelled) (AI); passive antibody intraperitoneal injection (PI). Follicular more rapid AI PI groups than NI or HI rats. With flagellin, but not flagella, final follicular concentration reached also greatly increased. No differences observed between rats. In primary lymphoid follicles, distributed throughout follicle diffuse network, presumably macrophage fibrils. In secondary localized crescentic cap occupying superficial aspect follicle. The study stressed importance acting as opsonin determining details localization.
