摘要: Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are not vaccinated at the same rate as general medical patients. IBD places patients increased risk for developing vaccine-preventable illnesses, and this is further exacerbated by immunosuppressive therapy. Therefore, gastroenterologists should familiarize themselves health maintenance measures pertaining to IBD.
