Efficient and sensitive method for the quantification of saturated monoacylglycerols in biodiesel by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry

摘要: The experimental approach of this work was to develop a new method for the quantification saturated MAGs in biodiesel using GC–MS. established on 30 m 5% phenyl phase column and ensured satisfying separation target MAGs. carried out single ion monitoring (SIM) mode quantitation ions MAGs: m/z 218 (2-C16:0), 371 (1-C16:0), 385 (1-C17:0), 399 (1-C18:0) as well 413 1-C19:0, serving an internal standard (IS). analytical procedure involved mixing sample with IS silylating agent before applying GC–MS analysis. Response factors individual related were determined. Prior real samples, derived from used cooking oil (UCO) waste animal fats (WAF), linearity (R2>0.99) limits detection (LOD: 8–20 ng/g, LOQ: 26–61 ng/g) determined. Practical applications: European Committee Standardization (CEN) contemplates establish limit value specifically biodiesel, primarily requiring specific analysis method. At present, there is no suitable test determination monoglycerol content FAME. Therefore, In contrast currently valid EN 14105 free glycerol, mono-, di- (MAGs, DAGs), triacylglycerols (TAGs), features very high sensitivity enables exclusion interfering substances, both due performing (SIM).
