摘要: Agent-based models are becoming indispensable tools in building design, safety assessments as well management of emergency egress. However, reliable calibrations these should be mandatory before they used practice. To improve the database for model calibration we present results from two experiments at a T-junction and corner. In such structures dynamics pedestrian streams is complex up to now not studied systematically. understand it deeply, series well-controlled laboratory conducted. The Voronoi method, which analyze experiments, allows high resolution small fluctuation time space. From results, found that fundamental diagrams flow same after merging. At density, velocities pedestrians merging smaller than whether turning or stream responsible this discrepancy, compare with single front behind corner agree also accordance Besides, space-resolved measurements velocity profiles obtained using method. These maps offer important information about dangerous spots thus enable egress facility design.
