摘要: Objective : The low number of postnatal endothelial progenitor cells (EPC) in the circulation limits their therapeutic application cardiovascular medicine. Processed lipoaspirate (PLA) differentiate into osteoid, adipose, muscle, and cartilaginous cells. This study examines potential PLA as a source EPCs. Methods obtained from human lipoaspirates were cultured for 1 week serum-depleted medium to form three-dimensional cell clusters (3DCC). phenotype 3DCC-derived was assessed by immunofluorescense staining FACS analysis. Results Flow cytometry showed that 45 ± 5% derived 3DCC expressed Flk-1, marker early EPC, whilst only 4 0.5% freshly isolated Flk-1+. proportion Flk-1+ increased 98 2% during culture hematopoietic stem medium. When an (EC)-specific medium, also Ve-cadherin, von Willebrand's factor (vW), lectin receptor, took up low-density lipoprotein. Incorporation tubular network confirmed functional activity. Conclusion report describes first isolation adipose tissue. feasibility extraction these numbers suggests such autologous will be useful applications ranging basic research cell-based therapies.
