摘要: Most offset approximation algorithms for freeform curves and surfaces may be classified into two main groups. The first approximates the curve using simple primitives such as piecewise arcs lines then calculates (exact) operator to this approximation. second offsets control polygon/mesh attempts estimate error of approximated over a region. current finite set samples taken from region therefore can not guarantee is within given tolerance whole or surface. This paper presents new methods globally bound automatically derive approximations with improved accuracy.
