摘要: Among the fields of expertise required to develop drugs successfully, biochemistry holds a key position in drug discovery at interface between chemistry, structural biology and cell biology. However, taking example protein kinases, it appears that biochemical assays are mostly used pharmaceutical industry measure compound potency and/or selectivity. This limited use is surprising, given detailed analyses commonly academia unravel molecular recognition processes. In this article, I show can provide invaluable information on dynamics energetics compound–target interactions cannot be obtained basis measurements data. Therefore, an extensive could facilitate identification development new drugs.
