Formulation and Application of the Generalized Multilevel Facets Model

摘要: In this study, the authors develop a generalized multilevel facets model, which is not only and two-parameter generalization of but also facet partial credit model. Because new model formulated within framework nonlinear mixed models, no efforts are needed to parameter estimation procedures, existing computer programs can be directly applied. Through simulations, found that parameters in could recovered fairly well using SAS NLMIXED procedure. To illustrate applications real data set about ratings household appliances was analyzed with gender, age, education level as Level 2 predictors. Further discussed.
