摘要: Abstract The extreme tribological conditions present during both the forward stroke and punch ejection of a backward cup extrusion process can adversely affect quality extruded part diminish life punches. A novel design based on segmentation into main body nose cone insert is proposed to reduce or eliminate pressure between work piece removal stroke. This facilitated by manipulating elastic strain field at nose. With aid finite element analysis, parametric study segmented assembly was carried out establish optimal guidelines.
