摘要: When mixed ruminal bacteria were incubated with a pancreatic casein hydrolysate and free amino acids of similar composition, rates ammonia production much greater for peptides than acids. The digest was then fractionated 90% isopropyl alcohol. Hydrophobic which dissolved in alcohol contained an abundance phenolic aliphatic acids, while the hydrophilic precipitated by large proportion highly charged Km values each fraction (0.88 versus 0.98 g/liter), but Vmax more twice that hydrophobic (18 39 mg NH3 per g bacterial protein h). Pure cultures had preference likewise utilized at faster rate Since peptide degradation differed greatly, hydrophobicity is likely to influence composition passing unfermented lower gut ruminant animals.
