摘要: Cyanobacteria are photoautotrophic bacteria commonly found in the natural environment. Due to ecological benefits associated with assimilation of carbon dioxide from atmosphere and utilization light energy, they attractive hosts a growing number biotechnological processes. Biopolymer production is arguably one most critical areas where transition fossil-derived chemistry renewable needed. can produce several polymeric compounds high applicability such as glycogen, polyhydroxyalkanoates, or extracellular substances. These important biopolymers synthesized using precursors derived central metabolism, including tricarboxylic acid cycle. their unique metabolic properties, i.e., harvesting fixation, molecular genetic aspects polymer biosynthesis relationship metabolism somehow different those heterotrophic microorganisms. A greater understanding processes involved cyanobacterial still required these molecules more efficiently. This review presents current state art engineering for efficient biopolymers.
