摘要: Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is a component of the outer membrane mainly Gram-negative bacteria and cyanobacteria. The LPS molecules from marine terrestrial show structural variations, even among strains within same species living in environment. Cyanobacterial has unique structure, since it lacks heptose 3-deoxy-d-manno-octulosonic acid (also known as keto-deoxyoctulosonate (KDO)), which are present core region common LPS. In addition, cyanobacterial lipid A phosphates contains odd-chain hydroxylated fatty acids. While role regulation innate immune response through Toll-like Receptor (TLR) 4 signaling well characterized, structurally different TLR4 not understood. uncontrolled inflammatory leads to autoimmune diseases such sepsis, thus less virulent can be effective inhibit signaling. This review highlights comparison cyanobacteria bacteria. We discuss potential use antagonist, effects on humans organisms.
