摘要: Cyanobacteria are an interesting group of photosynthetic prokaryotes with a great potential in drug discovery and scientific research. Due to their high degree diversification, they have been able adapt almost all ecological niches. Similarly Gram-negative bacteria, cyanobacterial cell wall contains Lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) the outer membrane layer. LPSs molecules that possess ability elicit innate immune response via Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR-4) activation. Cyanobacterial studied minor extent compared bacterial LPSs. However, available data revealed important differences between these two groups organisms, both term structure biological activity. This review summarizes current knowledge about LPSs, highlighting peculiarity potentiality more characterized
