摘要: This paper proposes a method for measuring the stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) threshold based on waveform variation of SBS optical limiting. The output waveforms different pump power densities are numerically simulated, and validated in Nd:YAG seed-injected laser system. results indicate that does not take place case low density thus scales up linearly with power. Once exceeds threshold, takes thereby energies transferred from to Stokes. As result, small shoulder appears trailing edge waveform, which provides another determine threshold.
