摘要: Abstract Rat substantia nigra was injected with 1 μg of purified pertussis toxin, a substance which inactivates the inhibitory guanine nucleotide regulatory unit adenylate cyclase. In comparison to saline-injected animals, toxin-treated animals showed almost no inhibition dopaminergic neurons in response dopamine applied iontophoretically or agonist (−)-apomorphine given intravenously. These results provide evidence that protein is involved as transducer mediating physiological actions autoreceptors.
