摘要: Isoprenoids have been the subject of numerous studies in biological sciences due to their role protecting plants from herbivory, and atmospheric participation many tropospheric chemical reactions. These hydrocarbon molecules are constructed isoprene units produced mevalonic acid (MVA) pathway plants. The enzymes this found cytoplasmic, mitochondrial, most recently chloroplastic compartments (Gray 1987; Kleinig 1989). It has hypothesized that synthesis isoprenoid compounds through MVA is associated with emission (Monson Fall 1989; Loreto Sharkey 1990). At time, it not known exactly how or why produced, but its characteristics may prove be a useful means studying dynamics as relates higher-order isoprenoids.
