摘要: The influence of barriers in mineral oil on the stress at which partial discharges initiate and also failure occurs was investigated for non-uniform fields. stresses were found to depend location barrier, while discharge onset independent barrier low field region. variation interpreted terms an assumed critical tip streamer that is required puncture barrier. behavior shown be consistent with a particle initiated breakdown shape effect introduced. In addition, voltage endurance data obtained without where times ranged from few cycles hundreds hours 60 Hz.
