摘要: This study deals with the influence of insulating barriers on AC dielectric strength transformer oil in point-plane electrode configuration. The characteristics barrier such as its position regard to point electrode, thickness and dimension well constituting material is investigated. It shown that insertion near generally leads increase breakdown voltage; this later also increases dimensions barrier. optimal at about 20% gap starting from sharp (i.e. point). acts a geometrical obstacle against direct propagation discharge.
