摘要: The Ultra High Frequency (UHF) signal radiated during the surface discharge process under harmonic AC voltages with different Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) shows a dominant frequency at 0.8 GHz. inception voltage decreases an increase in harmonics and THD as observed present work. peak factor of show inverse relationship. rise time injected current pulse due to discharges measured using Current Transformer (HFCT) is about 600 ps 900 for positive negative signal, respectively. Cumulative energy spectra Ternary plot confirms that UHF generated does not significantly vary THD's. magnitude formed 50 Hz higher than voltage. Surface charge measurement after corona charging oil impregnated pressboard material indicates amount deposited high specimen damaged Degraded zone insulation was analyzed Attenuated Reflectance Fourier Transform Infra-red (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy. Phase resolved partial (PRPD) studies indicate activity predominates when rate high.
