摘要: Venous lactate is a valuable diagnostic test for the evaluation of shock and suspected states. Lactate level has been found to correlate with poor prognosis in perioperative, intraoperative, SICU, MICU, Emergency Department patients, even when vital signs are normal. Patients who respond resuscitative measures decrease have better than those persistently elevated levels. In interpreting values it important be aware clinical states, especially liver disease antiretroviral therapy, which can cause elevations absence hypoperfusion.
