摘要: Doppler Optical Coherence Tomography (DOCT) is a noninvasive optical diagnostic technique, which well suited for the quantitative mapping of microflow velocity profiles and analysis flow-vessel interactions. The imaging blood flow in complex-structured vascular bed required many biomedical applications, including those where determination mechanical properties vessels or knowledge mechanic interactions between housing medium plays key role. change microvessel wall elasticity could be potential indicator cardiovascular disease at very early stage, whilst monitoring dynamics associated temporal spatial variations vessel's shear stress help predicting possible rupture atherosclerotic plaques. results feasibility studies application DOCT evaluation elastic vessel model are presented. technique has also been applied sub-cranial rat vivo.
