Structural and magnetic properties of Mn doped Ho2O3 nanocrystalline

摘要: Abstract Ho2-xMnxO3 (HMO), x = 0.0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15 and 0.20 have been prepared as solid solutions in the nano form. The cation distribution structural changes upon Mn doping are studied using X-ray diffraction Infrared (IR) spectroscopy. results indicate that, patterns resemble a single phase solution of bixbyite structure type for x = 0.0 to while x ≥ 0.15 two phases were detected HMO; hexagonal with space group P 63 cm. Random cationic between sites 8b 24d was obtained x = 0.15, preferential accommodation other values x found. effect addition on magnetic susceptibility investigated SQUID magnetometer temperature interval from 5 K 300 K under field 200 Oe. Negative curie paramagnetic temperatures, θ, obtained, which indicates an antiferromagnetic interaction ions HMO. value θ increases then decreases increasing doped amount, can be correlated distribution.
