摘要: Ovarian cancer has the highest mortality rate of gynaecological cancers. This is partly due to lack effective screening markers. Here, we used oligonucleotide microarrays complementary ∼12 000 genes establish a gene-expression microarray (GEM) profile for normal ovarian tissue, as compared stage III serous adenocarcinoma and omental metastases from same individuals. We found that GEM profiles primary secondary tumours individuals were essentially alike, reflecting fact these had already metastasised acquired metastatic phenotype. have identified novel biomarker, mammaglobin-2 (MGB2), which highly expressed specific cancer. MGB2, in combination with other putative markers here, could potential screening.
