摘要: This paper addresses some of the problems associated with integration environmental and social values into activities contemporary responsible investment institutions. The first these relates to current participation gap between internal external interests in decision-making. second problem concerns lack certainty regarding normative basis under which multi-stakeholders should participate institutional governance. Thirdly, there is at present no analytical framework evaluate quality within context global economy. In response, building upon existing research realms international relations politics, uses a principles, criteria indicators assumptions this are tested against small-scale attitudes survey governance Recognising shortcomings such small study, nevertheless finds variety perspectives, indicate that institutions still has way go. concludes observations on nature stakeholder involvement investment; comments extent aspects can be said institutionally embedded; offers reflections contribution an approach analysis as method for evaluating advancing sustainable development.
