摘要: Spinal cord injury was studied using a drop-weight technique in rat model. A constant weight of 10 g dropped from 2.5, 5.0 and 17.5 cm heights. The trauma delivered quantified by biomechanical parameters drop height, maximum force, impulse, while the functional deficit produced terms inclined plane score, hindlimb motor combined behavioral score. Highly significant (P = 0.0001) relationships were found within as well between at 4 weeks after injury. impulse to be best predictor loss (r 0.79, P 0.0001).
