摘要: Background: There are limited evidence based studies demonstrating the stability of fat-soluble vitamins (FSV) measured in blood. This study aimed to examine effects light, temperature and time on A, D E throughout total testing process. Methods: Four experiments were conducted. Three investigated sample matrix, whole blood, serum extracted sample, against variables light; fourth experiment during extraction process variable light. All samples analysed via our simultaneous FSV method using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry technology. The allowable clinical percentage change was calculated biological variation desirable imprecision for each analyte. limit ±7.3% 25-OH-vitamin D3, ±11.8% retinol ±10.8% α-tocopherol. Results: Vitamins stable conditions (concentration changes 48 h with concentration -6.8% (blood) -6.5% (serum), both within change. By contrast, demonstrated a -18.4% after light exposure. However, vitamin A solution one month when stored at -20 °C. Conclusions: Blood analyses can be processed normal laboratory lighting temperature. required analysis similar performed h. For longer-term storage, extracts should
