摘要: Abstract Coastal resource management revolves around defining the dynamic between people and marine coastal resources they use depend upon for a large range of goods services. The process that is iterative must account not only changing natural conditions but also social conditions. Decision-making therefore happens within context system includes differing levels capacity, commitment, economics, political mandates pressures, cultural traditional frameworks. aim this paper to introduce hierarchical approach in which number variables needed measure complex, numerous abstract concepts used evaluate delivery ecosystem services can be aggregated into smaller sets indicators, ultimately single report card. These indicators identify describe non-economic human dimensions societal benefits derived as are readily collected, changes over time, appropriate specific regions. identified would capture overall impacted by, or will impact, particular environmental characteristics valued by society at large.
