Vibrational spectroscopic study of sol–gel layered double hydroxides containing different tri- and tetravalent cations

摘要: Five different layered double hydroxides were synthesized from magnesium ethoxide in the presence of aluminium, gallium, indium, tin and zirconium acetylacetonates by using sol–gel technique. The colloid suspensions initially obtained gelled separated centrifugation. XRD patterns confirmed that five solids thus possessed a hydroxide structure. Also, IR Raman spectra revealed differences between solids.
