摘要: Summary We have compared the efficacy of ondansetron, metoclopramide, droperidol and placebo in prevention postoperative nausea vomiting 118 day stay patients undergoing laparoscopic gynaecological procedures. All received a standardised general anaesthetic offentanyl, propofol, nitrous oxide oxygen isoflurane. Three to five min before induction anaesthesia, were allocated receive ondansetron 4mg, metoclopramide 10 mg, 1 mg or randomised, double-blind manner. Visual analogue scores for nausea, incidence emetic episodes, analgesic antiemetic consumption recorded 48 h postoperatively. The significantly lower group (p < 0.01) with other three groups at 1, 2 4h after operation; thereafter there was no difference. erne sis = 0.063) time first oral fluids shorter 0.05) group. Oral requirements greater over study period. Two patients, one each groups, had remain hospital overnight because persistent symptoms.
