摘要: Because of the lack structural and human resources for implementing more effective safe preventive procedures, antimicrobial prophylaxis is often used to prevent infections in nursing homes. However, if data on efficacy antibiotic homes are null, there a plenty evidence that inappropriate use antimicrobials this setting associated with high rate colonization infection multi-drug-resistant organisms (MDROs), Clostridium difficile (CDI). Here, we have reviewed epidemiology, burden MDROs CDI, some potential measures homes, pointing up peculiarities absolute need prudential antimicrobials.
