摘要: An easy, fast and inexpensive method to determine the mean pore size of a microfiltration ceramic membrane is offered by wicking technique combined with electrical resistance measurements. Mean derived from measured rates capillary rise different liquids known surface tension through membrane, via Washburn equation. We used low-energy for which contact angle θ ≈ 0, such as hydrocarbons, we determined tortuosity pores measurements so that radius was only unknown in The diameter also Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry (MIP) comparison. It found be very good agreement afforded technique.
