Malignant oral tumours in Sweden 1960–1989—An epidemiological study

摘要: Epidemiological data from the Swedish Cancer Registry of new cases malignant oral tumours in Sweden 1960-1989 are presented, including total number and age-standardised incidence rate per 1 million population, by site sex, (I(s)). An analysis various histopathological types different sublocations is also given. A comparison made between three 10-year periods 1960-1969, 1970-1979 1980-1989 regarding I(s). The cases, 17,158, represented 1.8% all newly diagnosed cancers Sweden. following relative frequencies were noted for respective sites: intra-oral region 0.7%, lip 0.6% pharynx 0.5%. results indicated an increase a statistically significant I(s) females over whole period. corresponding during 1960-1969 decrease males was observed. For there tongue tumours, while figures remained constant. floor mouth both men women.
