摘要: High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) links help to integrate large amounts of power from Renewable Energy Sources (RES), however they may interact in complex ways with the control, defense, and protection systems grid. The paper analyses some stability phenomena interactions that affect small weakly connected bulk system via HVDC links, characterized by low inertia, short circuit power, high production RES. To this purpose, detailed time-domain simulations are performed, based on phasor models, study severe disturbances such as circuits close AC terminals link. outcome is significantly dependent control defense parameters. A sensitivity analysis performed resulting changes performance indicators discussed.
