摘要: Carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) were grown in the subsurface-region of porous SiO2 templates that had been subjected to plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition. The over-layer multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) surface region template removed by a sonication process. Mechanical scrubbing was used remove subsurface for investigation. powder obtained dispersed ethanol onto copper-grids characterization electron microscopy, diffraction and micro-Raman spectroscopy. Elliptical, faceted grape-shaped CNPs observed microscopy with patterns showing short range orderings. Raman spectrum found be distinctly different from MWCNTs D-band (at ~1385 cm−1) merged G-band ~1552 cm−1). It seems grew simultaneously MWCNTs. A possible growth mechanism is proposed.
