Adulteration and Microbiological Quality of Milk (A Review)

摘要: Milk is very valuable food, readily digested and absorbed. It consists of nutrients, which are needed for proper growth maintenance body. milk products form a significant part the diet substantial amount our food expenditures goes on other dairy products. In Pakistan, transported from point production to consumers processing plants by middlemen called “Gawalas”. They don’t maintain hygienic conditions during this transport, leads increase total viable bacterial count. also adulterate their profit margin several chemicals like urea, starch, flour, cane sugar, vegetable oils, detergents etc. Various preservatives formalin some antibiotics added in its shelf life. This addition decreases nutritive value milk. These adulterants, drugs cause serious health related problems.
