A study on adulteration of milk and milk products from local vendors

摘要: Milk is an essential commodity in daily life. It not only a source of good quality protein, but also calcium and riboflavin besides other nutrients. most commercially sold both by local vendor’s as well super markets .Due to rules laid FSSAI, the branded products follow appropriate marketed products. However increase yield certain adulterants are added which may affect nutritional milk. Hence, know activity, present study aimed at knowing adulteration 5 selected vendors food samples were Milk, Curd, Buttermilk, Butter Ghee. The observed mostly Buttermilk Ghee adulterated with Curd water content more, few urea starch was .Thus, clearly brought fact that foods from had samples.
