摘要: In this work, a sorbent was developed based on vermiculite intercalated with cetyltrimethylammonium ions to remove the hazardous hormone molecule ethinylestradiol (EE) from aqueous medium developed. Characterization by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, elemental and thermal analyses, scanning transmission electron microscopies, N2 adsorption–desorption fluorescence showed that can be 16–19 wt% of leading an increase in d001 space 1.15 nm for pure 1.22–1.24 nm. Sorption experiments taking into account, contact time, pH, initial concentration amount adsorbent high sorption capacities range 6.5–9.3 mgEEg−1. These materials containing regenerated simple solvent extraction which allowed recovery reuse at least five times. The obtained results suggest hydrophobic cavities formed C18 chains molecules interlayer are responsible molecules.
