摘要: Abstract Mammary gland obtained from a lactating California sea lion, Zalophus Californianus , contained all the enzymatic activities required for synthesis of UDP-galactose glucose. Galactokinase activity was absent and galactose-1-phosphate uridyl transferase extremely low. Galactosyl present, but there negligable lactose synthetase in either mammary or milk lion. α-lactalbumin, determined enzymatically, not found lion which accounts absence this animal.
