摘要: A lipopeptide biosurfactant production from a probiotic type strain of Propionibacterium freudenreichii subsp. is being reported here for the first time. This able to reduce surface tension water 72 38 mN/m with an increase concentration up critical micelle value 1.59 mg/ml. The was found be much higher in medium containing sunflower oil compared glucose-containing medium. maximum emulsifying activity (E24 = %) attained used frying oil, while kerosene and starch had lowest activity. Biosurfactant seems parallel cell growth. produced relatively thermo-stable no appreciable changes occurred at temperature ranges 25–85 °C. analysis extracted by thin layer chromatography, infrared spectroscopy, 1H 13CNMR spectroscopy revealed chemical nature as lipopeptide. Produced evaluated its antimicrobial antiadhesive showed significant action against wide range pathogenic bacteria fungi. total growth inhibition observed over Rhodococcus erythropolis, best result antiadhesion obtained Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
