摘要: Abstract Objectives To compare the effects of preincisional peritonsillar infiltration levobupivacaine and bupivacaine on post-tonsillectomy pain in children. Methods Sixty children undergoing elective tonsillectomy or adenotonsillectomy were randomly allocated into three groups before tonsillectomy: infiltrations with 0.25% 1:200,000 epinephrine (group levobupivacaine, n = 20), bupivacaine, normal saline saline, = 20) applied. Pain was evaluated by using a modified Children's Hospital Eastern Ontario Scale (mCHEOPS). Choice additional analgesic acetaminophen for all patients. Results mCHEOPS values at 0th (immediately) 30th minute after arrival PACU lower both local anesthetics than group ( p Conclusion Preincisional tonsillectomy, are effective reducing early pain, where as had slightly longer effect. Compared to anesthetic infiltrations, lesser medication analgesia is required.
