摘要: This paper presents qualitative findings from an experiment designed to investigate breaks in presence. Participants spent approximately five minutes immersive Cave-like system depicting a virtual bar with characters. On four occasions the projections were made go white trigger clearly identifiable anomalies audiovisual experience. Participants' physiological responses measured throughout possible correlates of these experienced anomalies. Analysis subsequent interviews participants suggests that subjectively as is significant context our research approach, which considers presence multilevel construct ranging higher-level subjective lower-level behavioral and automatic responses. The fact also associated signature future avenues for exploring less intrusive ways studying temporal fluctuations during course mediated experience itself. reveal have multiple causes can range intensity, resulting varying recovery times. In addition, vary intensity within same space, suggesting environment fluctuate temporally spatial behavior consistent what would be expected equivalent real environment.
