摘要: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common neurodegenerative in the elderly individuals and its effective therapies are still unavailable. This study was designed to investigate neuroprotection of sulforaphane (SFN) AD-lesion mice induced by combined administration d-galactose aluminium. Results showed that SFN ameliorated spatial cognitive impairment locomotor activity decrease Morris water maze open field test, respectively. And attenuated numbers amyloid β (Aβ) plaques both hippocampus cerebral cortex were detected immunohistochemistry. According spectrophotometry quantitative reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction results, significant increase carbonyl group level obvious decreases messenger RNA expression glutathione peroxidase found brain compared with control, but not SFN-treated mice. In conclusion, ameliorates neurobehavioral deficits protects from Aβ deposits peroxidation Alzheimer-like lesions, suggesting likely potential phytochemical be used AD therapeutics.
