摘要: The oral administration of probenecid (100 mg/kg/18 h) to depressed patients results in marked increases the acidic metabolites biogenic amines cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). In contrast previous reports (where lower dose rates were employed) 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid and homovanillic independent plasma or CSF concentrations. Higher concentrations found this study. binding proteins for each patient was also determined examine pharmacodynamics distribution. ratio calculated free higher (0.4) more constant than previously noted. At these levels, successfully competes with active transport process amine appears block its own removal from CSF.
