摘要: Resveratrol is a natural compound with plethora of activities as well limitations. We recently reported series resveratrol-salicylate analogs potential chemopreventive activity. Herein, we report the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties these resveratrol derivatives. Using an in vitro COX inhibition assay, two vivo protocols (carrageenan-induced peritonitis paw edema), identified novel (C10) potent agent. The enhanced potency C10 was associated ability to decrease activity myeloperoxidase (MPO) enzyme at 10mg/kg, whereas it's analog (TMS) did not exert same effect. Additionally, significantly reduced concentration intracellular reactive oxygen species. Because proven association between cancer, inflammation, oxidative stress, believe that promising molecule.
