摘要: Knowledge of percolation in binary composites is critical to the development new materials with specific electrical and optical properties. This report investigates detection novel two-phase consisting poly(methyl) methacrylate(PMMA) indium tin oxide (ITO). ITO a filler particular interest primarily for possessing clarity consistent PMMA visible light range. AC impedance measurements were performed on specimens varying concentrations particles determine threshold. Percolation was observed when contained 2-3% vol. nano- sized 6%-8% coarse-sized ITO. Thus, threshold appeared significantly decreased reduced particle size filler. It speculated that minor agglomerates bulk may have prevented from occurring at even lower volume fractions phase.
