A less well-known source is labial fat (modified Martius graft) which has a robust posterolateral pedicle useful as an adjunctive technique for high anterior anal rectovaginal fistulas. Between November 1993 July 1997, eight women (age range 18-55 years) underwent modified grafting, six of having fistula two complex (suprasphincteric) fistula. Anorectal advancement flaps were performed in five patients three had transperineal approach with simultaneous sphincter repair because concurrent incontinence. All defunctioning stoma. The healed (75%) recurred patients. stoma been closed (one patient's but her cannot incontinence). This when confronted women.
