摘要: Aspiration of foreign matter into the airways and lungs can cause a wide spectrum pulmonary disorders with various presentations. The type syndrome resulting from aspiration depends on quantity nature aspirated material, chronicity, host responses. is most likely to occur in subjects decreased level consciousness, compromised airway defense mechanisms, dysphagia, gastroesophageal reflux, recurrent vomiting. These aspiration-related syndromes be categorized disorders, including vocal cord dysfunction, large obstruction body, bronchiectasis, bronchoconstriction, diffuse bronchiolitis, or parenchymal pneumonitis, pneumonia, exogenous lipoid pneumonia. In idiopathic fibrosis, has been implicated disease progression acute exacerbation. may increase risk bronchiolitis obliterans patients who have undergone lung transplant. Accumulating evidence suggests that causative role for often unsuspected presenting diseases; thus, many cases go undiagnosed. Herein, we discuss broadening these focus features diagnostic aspects.
