摘要: The World Health Organization has identified Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lower respiratory infections as the 3rd most common causes of death worldwide. A better understanding both these conditions may lead to improved healthcare help rates. An underappreciated factor that links COPD infection is occult aspiration. To obtain current status about contribution dysphagia have in relation morbidity mortality persons with COPD, a search review literature covering past 3 years was conducted. Overall, there strong evidence swallowing dysfunction patients. relationships between exacerbation, airway infection, impairments point possible strategies could be used prolong improve life those afflicted by preventing aspiration subsequent sequelae.
